But let’s get serious now. Did you know that laws in Alberta, Canada make it illegal to add any flavorings to liquor, be it ice? This is very powerful. It shows that they are concerned about the authenticity of drinks. There are laws that prevent bars from defrauding drinkers and deceiving them.

As you may NOT know, alcohol can be easily made fake: Artificial ageing colors, storage in very high heated rooms, addition of flavors that are made in short times, bottles of real products refilled and resealed and much more is done to deceive drinkers.
